At Adobe Animal Hospital we are dedicated to becoming your trusted partner in providing superior care for your pet. Our skilled and compassionate team is here to help you provide your best friend with a long healthy life.
We believe that a gentle, low stress environment goes hand in hand (and hand in paw) with great medical care. Keeping your pet happy and comfortable during their visit with us is a priority.
We are happy to take extra time and care with anxious or nervous pets (or their people) , and always practice proactive pain management.
Dr. Yvonne Stemwedel is a diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners, certified in canine and feline practice. Certification by the ABVP requires a long process of additional studies and examination beyond what is normally required of veterinarians.
In addition to modern wellness care and progressive medicine, dentistry and surgery, Dr. Stemwedel is an experienced ultrasonographer. She is also certified to perform PennHip evaluations for hip dysplasia, and is a credentialed provider of Vet-Stem regenerative stem cell therapy.
We pride ourselves on being cat friendly. While many of our dog friends naturally enjoy visiting Adobe Animal Hospital (it’s a fun car ride and free cookies), our cat friends are generally less enthusiastic. In an effort to change that, we have taken some steps to help make your cat’s visit easier and more enjoyable for both of you.
